Comprehensive School Career Guidance System (CSCGS)

CSCGS is a system for the Students in Career Transition Period to Design a Concrete Career Path. SCGS is a teacher-initiated program designed to help classroom teachers and career specialist teachers collaborate to support school career guidance.

To Whom?

The Students in Career Transition Period: The 6th, 9th, 10th, & 12th Graders

How?

To Provide the cooperative career counseling service

For What?

-Exploring the career aspiration of the student
 based on their own talents and aptitudes
-Supporting the career planning by
 designing the curriculum and extracurriculum
 activities

Step 1
  • Check student's data
  • At this stage, students are closely identified based on school records, career planners, career psychology results, and student questionnaires
Step 2
  • Student's career design type diagnosis
  • Based on student's career decision and career activity level, we diagnose one of 4 types

  • Provide students with the necessary career counseling
  • Choose appropriate counseling area to help students solvetheir career problems

					design = Learning design:basic guidance on curriculum(selection of subjects)for short-term learning design(semester, year)- learning method, attitude- preparation for school admission exams(counselling for school selection), Career design:basic guidance on basic information on majors, schools and vocations- information for self-awareness - information about career experiential activities,School life design:basic guidance on curricular activities conducted at/out of school - at school: non-subject areas - out of school: places outside school,Career path design:basic guidance on career path to the student's mid-to-long-term career goals (*Career path includes vocational and learning paths.)
